Beyond Control

The goal of the game is to reflect on the fact that doomscrolling offers no benefits, but only fills your mind with stress and obsessive thoughts. Narrative: The player finds themselves in a setting where a war is raging in the country; parents are arguing and worrying about relatives who are currently in a city that is about to be conquered. Under the influence of stress, main character begins scrolling through news and articles (doomscrolling) about this city; his mental state deteriorates, and he falls asleep. In his dream, he finds himself in that same city, and his goal is to save his relatives. He kills soldiers, reaches his relatives, and wakes up with his phone in his hands, realizing there is nothing he can do.
